Anchor Muffler & Auto Service

I originally came in to get my exhaust fixed and paid $120 for the repair. After only driving the car a few times over about two weeks, I could hear the exhaust leaking again. When I brought it back, I was told the flange was warped and now the repair would cost another $180. If I had been told the first time that the flange was warped and needed additional work, I would have handled it then. That option was never offered to me. Instead, I paid for a repair that didn’t properly solve the issue, and now I’m being asked to spend a total of $300. Whem i went back The employee kept saying he was “giving me a deal” at $180 because another shop across the street would charge $300, but at that point I was already into the repair for $120, so the total would basically be the same anyway. I also found out they make thicker exhaust gaskets specifically for uneven or warped flanges, but that was never discussed with me either. I even offered to pay the difference toward doing it correctly, but I kept getting cut off and was just told I was already getting a “good deal.” So at that point I just decided to leave. I've also filed a complaint to BAR to get my money back. The receipt also does

I had the muffler replaced on my 2013 Ford Edge SEL. The staff were very friendly and took the time to explain everything clearly. They really understood exactly what I was looking for, and the final result exceeded my expectations. The pricing was honest, and the overall experience was great from start to finish. If I ever get a new car and want to do another muffler upgrade, I will definitely come back here. Highly recommended!

I had a exhaust leak, truck was loud and slow. Quick fix and great Welding skills. Fast and friendly staff. Will use again and again. Truck runs quietly and smooth all engine lights went off on their own.
